The Crabs started out in Portland, OR. They consist of Jonn Lunsford on guitar and vocals and Lisa Jackson on drums and vocals. They were joined by Sarah Dougher on organ on the album “Sand and Sea”.

The Crabs became an Anacortes band in around 2000 (Jonn is an Anacortes native). They rarely perform anymore, but occasionally they treat us to performance, sometimes joined by son Vince and his friends.
