Second Sundays through 2026 with a 3 month break for June/July/August

Join us at Buxton’s on second Sundays at 6 p.m. for inclusive, free, all ages jazz jams presented by AMP and the Manieri Jazz Endowment. These evenings carry on the age-old jazz tradition of community jams, with a focus on fun and direct learning from fellow musicians of all backgrounds and levels of experience. Join a rotating professional backing band- on stage.Musicians should come prepared with everything they need to play their instrument, along with a few favorite standards or blues to play together with the house band. Those who’d like to come listen are welcome too! Free.

Three Pianos, Three Local Artists, One Great Cause!

Three amazing local artists showcased their talents and creativity by decorating three pianos. Did you catch Kylie painting her piano at the Anacortes Arts Festival’s Working Studios section? The three pianos are currently on display in downtown Anacortes in the heart of the Anacortes Creative District.

During the Anacortes Open Streets on August 25th, the pianos will be auctioned off and moved to their new homes. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Anacortes High School and Anacortes Middle School Choir & Band Programs. Click here to bid on your favorite piano.

The pianos are outside of Bayshore Office Products, Calico Cupboard Cafe and Bakery, and Creative Hub & Coffeehouse on Commercial Ave through Labor Day weekend.
