I am excited to announce that I will be a guitar instructor for private lessons at Buxtons in Anacortes!

Have you ever wanted to learn the guitar?
Do you have a guitar hanging on the wall that is begging to be played?
Do you want to start performing, song writing, or making a band?
Are you feeling “stuck” in your playing and need some help finding new ideas?

I want to help you with all of these things!

I grew up in a musical house. My dad was a college instructor for music and a prolific performer. This is where my education started for music. As I grew older, I started to write and perform my own songs. I have now been performing regularly as band leader for Ebb Slack and Flood and The Savage Blues Band. I have taught preschool through fourth grade for over 15 years. I have decided to leave early learning behind and really focus on sharing what I love: music.

Teaches: violin

Learning to play music and having a good time doing it is the most important thing about
learning to play any instrument. I have been playing the violin for over 50 years and through all
my life travels, my violin has always led me to a great community of music lovers of all levels.
After substitute teaching elementary school for over 16 years, I realized that my love of music
and teaching were high on my list of favorite things to do. I then decided to combine the two
and teach beginning Violin/Theory. Looking forward to this fall in gathering other violinist in
the community that haven’t touch their violins for years and find joy in playing again. I have
been playing 2 nd violin with the Skagit Symphony for 10+ years and assisting and teaching with
AMP’s string camp in the summer.
